Here in Philadelphia, the charter movement's promise of more accountability in exchange for more autonomy has not yet been fully realized. It is our hope this project inspires other charter schools to follow suit and fosters a public dialogue about what an effective accountability system for public schools could look like in Philadelphia and nationwide. At KIPP, we know that success means more than raising test scores. That’s why across our national network we describe the health of our schools and regions through the lens of Six Essential Questions.
