Enrollment policyKIPP Philadelphia Schools are free, open-enrollment public schools. The only admission criteria are that the prospective student must be entering the correct grade (Kindergarten or 1st for KIPP Philadelphia Elementary Academy, 5th or 6th for KIPP West Philadelphia Preparatory Charter School, 5th or 6th for KIPP Philadelphia Charter School, 9th or 10th for KIPP DuBois Collegiate Academy), and be a resident of the city of Philadelphia. We serve any and all students who are selected through our enrollment lottery, regardless of previous academic or behavior records. Students who are not selected through our lottery are automatically placed on our wait list, as are students who fill out the enrollment form after our lottery date. These enrollment forms were used for SY2011-SY2012. Forms for enrolling in SY2012-2013 will be posted online and available in our schools during our open enrollment period beginning in February.
