Theresa Doggett joined the KIPP Philadelphia Team and Family in 2006 as a Saturday School teacher. A year later she joined the KPCS staff full time as the Director of Special Projects and then moved into the role of Operations Manager in 2008. Theresa now joins the regional office as the Director of Talent and is responsible for ensuring that KPS attracts, develops, and retains a diverse staff of talented individuals. Prior to joining KIPP, Theresa taught 5th and 6th grade ELA at McMichael Elementary School in West Philadelphia as a member of Teach For America and was the Recruitment Director for The Philadelphia Center, an off-campus experiential learning program for college students. Theresa has her M.Ed from St. Joseph’s University and her B.A. in Organizational Communication and Business from Alma College. She originally hails from Northern Michigan, but has made a home in Philadelphia with her husband, Patrick.
