Xinyan Yi joined KIPP Philadelphia Schools in 2010 as an accounting manager responsible for day-to-day accounting and financial activities. Xin then moved to Director of Finance in 2011 overseeing the Finance function. Previously, he worked as a financial administrator in LaBelle, Florida, and a financial consultant in Flourtown, PA. Before coming to the US, he also worked as an industrial engineer for a Hitachi plant in Guangzhou, China. Xin graduated with a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering and a M.S. in Management Science and Engineering, both in China, and earned his MBA from Temple University in 2010. He lives with his wife Junxia and son Earvin and likes to play soccer.
