Brianne Moyer joined KIPP Philadelphia Charter School as a Saturday School teacher in 2005. In August of 2008, Brianne joined the KPCS staff full-time as the 6th grade Writing teacher, and eventually became the 6th grade chair. After three years in the classroom at KPCS, Brianne has joined the KPS staff as the Recruitment Manager where she will be responsible for attracting, developing, and retaining a diverse staff of talented individuals. Prior to KIPP, Brianne taught 3rd and 5th grade for three years at Bluford Elementary in West Philadelphia and 3rd grade for two years at Lester Shields Elementary in San Jose, CA. Brianne earned her B.A. in Elementary/Early Childhood Education from Alvernia College and her M.Ed as a Reading Specialist from St. Joesph’s University. Outside of KIPP, Brianne enjoys spending time with her husband, Ben, their son, Max, and their dog, Brinkley.
