Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment
Christine Rowland joined the KIPP Philadelphia team in July 2011 as Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment and works with the regional and school-based teams to create effective network-wide systems for curricular alignment. Previously, she served as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Prestige Academy Charter School in Wilmington, Delaware and on staff with Teach For America as a program director in Newark, New Jersey. Christine came to teaching by way of Teach For America, where she taught 8th grade math at Bishop Spaugh Community Academy in Charlotte, North Carolina. She is a graduate of Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. Christine hails from the greatest of the 50 states: Delaware.
