More about our schools KIPP Philadelphia schools are a network of free, open-enrollment public charter schools serving students in North and West Philadelphia. Through an extended school day and year, our students are provided with an academically intensive, college preparatory program. We currently have two middle schools and plan to add our first elementary and high schools in the 2010-2011 school year. To learn more about our growth plan, click here.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salaries are based on the School District of Philadelphia’s pay scale, with additional compensation for extra teaching time.
- KIPP Philadelphia offers 100% employer-paid medical and dental insurance for employees and their immediate families.
- Our benefits package also includes enrollment in the Pennsylvania state pension plan (PSERS), an optional 403b, and optional plans that allow you to use pre-tax dollars for medical, child care, and/ or public transportation expenses.
- All staff members are provided with a laptop and cell phone.
