Young Friends Steering Committee |

The Young Friends Steering Committee seeks engaged professionals to become champions for KIPP Philadelphia. The target demographic for the Committee is a diverse group of young professionals in the greater Philadelphia area.
Steering Member Expectations:
- Pursue the mission and goals of Young Friends of KIPP Philadelphia Schools.
- Become a knowledgeable representative of KIPP Philadelphia Schools.
- Actively recruit and retain members in order to build a large and diverse network of supporters.
- Plan and execute two social/networking events and two major one-time volunteer opportunities tailored for Young Friends annually.
- Coordinate efforts to meet annual Young Friends fundraising target (as set by Committee members).
- Build relationships with individuals, corporations, and organizations within the community.
- Participate in monthly Committee meetings.
- Pay annual dues of $50.
